Clinical Trials
We’re committed to our mission of finding new treatments that may help improve the lives of people with cancer. We perform these trials to see if they can help prevent, find, or treat cancer.
Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that begins in the melanocyte cells. Melanoma is usually brown or black in appearance but can also show up as tan, pink, or white. It’s less common than other skin cancers, but it’s considered more serious because it has a greater likelihood of spreading.
There is a lot to consider when deciding whether to participate in a clinical trial. Any clinical trial includes risks which the study doctor will review with you. Make sure you understand the risks before participating.
